NASA hasn’t quite figured out how to get humans to Mars, but thanks to a competition they have decided upon the perfect Red Planet apartment.

NASA hasn’t quite figured out how to get humans to Mars, but thanks to the competition they hosted with MakerBot, they have decided upon the perfect Red Planet apartment.

Nearly 230 designers entered their visions for gracious Martian living.

According to the rules, the structures proposed had to be human-friendly and be made of materials that could be used in a 3D printing process.

Whether the construction matter came from Mars or Earth was left to the discretion of the designers.

The judging process was said to have been a tough one, but in the end top honors were awarded to a single-l...
