A tribute to Lonesome George who died in June 2012 - Last one of Pinta Island Galapagos Giant Tortoise

Galapagos Tortoises have always been rare and unique in their own kind. Lonesome George, being one of them, died in June 2012. Scientists failed to preserve its species as he was not ready to mate with any of the female tortoises kept in his company. Many attempts were made but He preferred to die "LONESOME". And thus, the last one of the pinta island tortoise, the oldest one on earth left us.
